How to refer? 

At S.M.I.L.E London & Essex, our mission is to provide emotional and financial support to people in our community who are facing difficult times. We provide services such as food and clothing donations, financial advice and information on how to connect to other like minded charities. 

We have strict criteria in place - applicants must;

  • be local to London & Essex (and be able to travel to our Romford Hub)  

  • Can provide evidence of having low income

  • Must be the parent or guardian of a child under 18 living with them in their registered address.

What happens next? 

We will call you and discuss your role in the families life and how best to support their needs. 

The team will then contact the client directly and introduce the charity and go through the assessment process and arrange an appointment at the Romford Hub.
